The scil Reflovet® Plus clinical chemistry analyzer provides accurate and reliable results within only 2-3 minutes. Results are expedited thanks to the flexibility of the sample required - whole blood, serum or plasma all work so there is no centrifugation needed. This feature makes the scil Reflovet® Plus the ideal analyzer for emergency services - appropriate therapies can be started immediately without having to wait for laboratory results.

A selection of individual tests can be chosen - no rotors involved - to customize the analysis for the patient's specific medical condition. The scil Reflovet® Plus is unsurpassed for course monitoring in patients suffering from chronic illness.

Operation

The scil Reflovet® Plus is the ideal analyzer when only 2 or 3 results are all you need. The choice of sample is yours - whole blood, serum or plasma. Results take just 2-3 minutes and use only 32 µl - approximately 1 drop of blood.

Only three steps lead to the analytical result:

Step 1: Apply sample

32 µl of whole blood, serum or plasma are pipetted onto the reagent test strip. Since the device can carry out direct analyses of whole blood, it is not necessary to go through time-consuming centrifugation of the sample to separate serum or plasma.

Step 2: Insert test strip

Insert the test strip into the measuring chamber of the scil Reflovet® Plus and close the measuring chamber lid. The analyzer recognizes the strip automatically, determines which parameter is to be measured and starts the analysis.

Step 3: Read off result

After 2-3 minutes, the scil Reflovet® Plus will both print and display the results. Direct automatic transfer of the results to all standard veterinary practice management programs is also possible.
