The ProteoTrol, Level 1/2 are liquid, ready-for-use control materials based on Human Serum, 0ff the CIot, Delipidized. The concentrations of the analytes are adjusted by concentration techniques and spiking of serum proteins of human origin. The liquid ProteoTrol, Level 1/2 contain preservatives and stabilizers to maintain product integrity.
The ProteoTrol, Level 1/2 are used for Internal Quality Control (IQC) to monitor precision and accuracy of the following constituents:

Biohazard:
The used human blood donations of European origin have been tested by CE-marked test kits and found to be non-reactive for HBsAg, anti-HIV 1,2 and anti HCV. In addition HCV and HIV are tested by PCR.
