The CardioTrol, Level 1/2 are Iyophilized control materials based on Human Plasma, Defibrinated. The concentrations of the components are adjusted with preparations from human tissue. The CardioTrol, Level 1/2 contain preservatives and stabilizers to maintain product integrity.

The CardioTrol, Level 1/2 are used for Internal Quality Control (IQC) to monitor precision and accuracy of the following constituents:

Storage and Stability

Lyophilized:                  24 months at 2 - 8°C

The used human blood donations of European origin have been tested by CE-marked test kits and found to be non-reactive for HBsAg, anti-HIV 1,2 and anti HCV. In addition HCV and HIV are tested by PCR.
