The BiliTrol is a lyophilized control material, based on Human Plasma, Defibrinated. BiliTrol is especially designed for neonatal control. The BiliTrol contains preservatives and stabilizers to maintain product integrity.
The BiliTrol is used for Internal Quality Control (IQC) to monitor precision and accuracy of the following constituents:

Biohazard:
The used human blood donations of European origin have been tested by CE-marked test kits and found to be non-reactive for HBsAg, anti-HIV 1,2 and anti HCV. In addition HCV and HIV are tested by PCR.
